Emmanuel Goldstein, Jr.

“He’s been isolated for so long.  We should listen to what he says.
“Well, you know, to say that he couldn’t harm somebody with what he did -- like, he could, absolutely, he could have.  But I think to cast him out, to make him invalid in society simply because he has scissors for hands?  I mean, that’s just strange.  People didn’t get scared until he started sculpting shrubs into dinosaur shapes and whatnot.
“Casting him out is just completely wrong.  We’re treating him like an animal, like somebody who should be quarantined and put away.  Just because he was created on top of a mountain by Vincent Price, and incomplete, with scissors for hands and no heart.
“[He] is a complete hero to me.  We cast him out.  We got scared when he poked a hole in a waterbed with his scissor finger, that was just unreasonable of us.”

Real Estate “Flip Calculator”

  • Inspired by TLC’s  “Property Ladder

  • Derived from the “Mortgage Rate Calculator”  page, formerly at:  NWhomes

This page calculates most everything you need, to decide if a R.E. flip will be good for you.  I use it every Saturday to follow TLC’s  “Property Ladder”.
Simply type your numbers into each of the fields (text boxes):  “Buy for:”, “Loan amount:”, “Loan interest rate:”, “Sell for:”, “Spend (Repairs, etc.):”, and “Months Held:”.
Then, click the “Compute” button.  You’ll then see:
    •  What you would pay each month:  Interest on Mortgage;  Taxes;  Insurance;
    •  Total of all “Carrying Costs”;
    •  R.E. Broker’s Commission;
    •  Your net & total expenses and profit!
  • If you’re into R.E. – Try it !

Yeah, I found, downloaded, hacked, and totally redid this myself.  Thanks to:
  •  My Father – who taught me to “think things through” and “do things right”
  •  Steve Jobs, and whoever else gave us Apple II+
  •  Those wonderful people who wrote the books for FORTRAN 77, COBOL, BASIC, etc.
  •  My college educators textbooks
  •  My parents (who paid for all the above $%#@)

Willis Tower

  • Not “If” – but “When” ...

One Birthday in Judea (a.k.a. “The Lost Gospel of Judas”)

  • A recently uncovered “Gospel”...

“Henceforth cometh the five and twentieth day of the final month of the Roman year, and the friends of Jesus arriveth at his home, the house of Mary and Joseph, to do homage unto Him on this especial day...”

Mitt Mormey !!!

  • The once & future President King of the United States !?!

    “If you liked Gordon Gekko...
     If you liked Willard...
Then you’ll love Mitt Mormey !!!”

“Dum de dum dum dum dum dum...”

Who Is Our “King”?

  • Do you think about “Voting” – “Your Sacred (American) Duty” – “The Lesser Of Two Evils” ?

Most people need a “minister” (or “pundit”) to tell them what to think;  a “government” to tell them what to do;  and a “cop” to keep them straight.  These people are called, “Voters”.

Others know:  they don’t need a “leader” to tell them right from wrong.  They’ve known this since they were kids.

These others:  don’t need a “master” to tell them how to spend their money.  They know they need to spend it on their own existence, their family, their car, their house;  then, if they have anything left over, I know their heart is kind enough to send a suitable donation to our local unemployable “minorities” or to our industrial-military-government complex’s so-called “collateral damage” in the 3rd world.

And so, these “others” don’t need a “king” taking a huge cut of their money in “taxes” (on average, about 35% of their “Income”™ [a legal “word of art”, copyright Federal Reserve Inc.]) -- and then spending it on anything other than what directly benefits them.

  • I ask you to consider – and really think about – what Moshe wrote a long, long time ago, about “choosing” a “ruler”:  Who Is Our “King”?  Please click on this link & read it!

You are here to do what’s “right’.
Even the lowest fool knows that he was not “evolved” from a “primordial ooze”.
    The mathematics don’t add up.
You were “created” by a “Creator”.
    Get over it.

Early Documents

  • Didache - Greek / English Interlinear

An Interlinear Translation of the "Didache", an early Christian document.  Greek text prepared by Wieland Willker from the critical edition of Funk/Bihlmeyer (1924).  English text and HTML interlinear-style formatting by me.

"The “Didache”, known in English as “(The) Teaching of the Twelve Apostles”, is a document which, like the Gospel(s) and several Epistles, was in heavy circulation among early Christians, c. 100 - 300 A.D.  The Didache was then held to be a more or less accurate representation of the essential teachings of the Apostles."
  • Biblia Sacra Vulgata - Novum Testamentum

The "New Testament" section of the Latin Vulgate Bible.  From the OSIS XML document at bibletechnologieswg.org.  Formatted into an HTML Document by me.

“Sanctum Iesu Christi Evangelium Secundum Matthaeum
    ...
Matt.1.1 liber generationis Iesu Christi filii David filii Abraham ...”

Documents

  • The Law of Nations, by Monsieur De Vattel

“The LAW OF NATIONS  Or Principles Of The Law Of Nature Applied To The Conduct And Affairs Of Nations And Sovereigns.”  From The French of Monsieur Emmerich de Vattel.  The New Edition by Joseph Chitty, Esq,  With Additional Notes And References by Edward D. Ingraham,  1883.  Formatted as a single HTML Document by me.

“This 1758 work by Swiss legal philosopher Emmerich de Vattel is of special importance to scholars of constitutional history and law, for it was read by many of the Founders of the United States of America, and informed their understanding of the principles of law which became established in the Constitution of 1787.  Chitty's notes and the appended commentaries by Edward D. Ingraham, used in lectures at William and Mary College, provide a valuable perspective on Vattel's exposition from the viewpoint of American jurists who had adapted those principles to the American legal experience.”
  • U.S. Militarism, by Richard Wilcox

“United States Militarism, Global Instability and Environmental Destruction”, By Richard Wilcox.  December, 2003. HTML coding re-formatted and edited by me, February 2004.

“This paper will employ the concept of militarism in the broadest sense.  At the time of writing, the U.S. is not directly under military control and is nominally under civilian rule.  However, extensive military operations are integral to the operations of empire, Pax AmericanaGlobal instability refers to many areas in the social and natural worlds that are affected by the military empire.  Environmental destruction will be treated as the major and culminating theme of this paper since without a thriving habitat, Homo sapiens will cease to exist.”
  • Srimad Bhagavatam - Sanskrit Interlinear

The “SRÎMAD BHÂGAVATAM” (or the “Bhâgavata Purâna”).  By Krishna Dvaipâyana Vyâsadeva, also called Bâdarâyana.  In Sanskrit, with the English word-for-word and original translation by Swami A. C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupâda.  With an Introduction, Sanskrit Pronunciation Guide, etc.  From bhagavata.org and srimadbhagavatam.org.  Compiled into a single "Zip" file by me;  the "Main Index" (HTML file, edited by me) is hyperlinked to each of the Cantos and other documents.

“[T]he S'rîmad Bhâgavatam (or the bhâgavata purâna)  ... the complete and up-to-date version in Sanskrit, [and] English  ... this most important sacred book of stories of India.  India knows many purânas or storybooks, but this collection of stories is generally accepted as being the most complete and important.  The book, arranged in twelve so-called cantos, comprises 335 chapters with about 18000 verses.”
